| Who
We Are |
|
We are Washingtonians
with a desire to build and sustain community between the people
and institutions of Washington State and our partner country Chile.
Our chapter of Partners of the Americas has been active since 1985.
|
 |
| What
We Do |
- With our
Chilean Partners, we jointly sponsor people-to-people programs
that encourage the sharing of skills, knowledge, culture and friendship
and that promote international cooperation and understanding.
- We offer
volunteers and supporters the opportunity to participate in programs
in education, social development, health and rehabilitation, environment
and emergency preparedness, economic development, university linkages,
citizen participation, and arts and culture.
- This page
should be updated very soon! (July, 2007).

| Why
You Should Get Involved |
|
Being a Partners
member is both fun and rewarding, with many opportunities for cultural
exchanges.
- We host receptions
for visiting authors, artists, teachers, doctors, business people,
firefighters, and other Chilean guests.
- Members who
participate in our volunteer exchange programs offer talks &
slide shows to share their experiences.
- You have
the opportunity share your talents and passions with others by
getting involved!
Please read
through our site to learn more about past
and current projects, as well as upcoming events,
and learn how you can become involved.
